Important Reminders for Installation:
- The extreme end near the terminal is now pre-attached to avoid customer confusion. If you prefer to have it loose for manual adjustment, please contact us after your purchase.
- The additional heat-shrink wraps are used for assembling the cable “guide” and “strain relief.” Their use is optional, as most mice secure the cable well without them. If you choose to use them, remember to apply heat carefully using only the blue part of a lighter flame. Overheating can damage the heat-shrink and the underlying cord and wires.
- Leave some slack in the cable during installation. Since the cable is much more flexible than standard cables, it can bend more easily, which might cause internal wire breakage. Ensure a small amount of slack is always present to prevent sharp bends at connectors or other sections.
- Avoid bending the cable along its entire length and keep it away from sharp edges where it could snag. Secure it gently to avoid excessive movement on your mousepad.
- When used with a mouse bungee, use it only to keep the cable elevated and allow enough slack for smooth sliding without stretching the bungee spring.
